Art Courses & Workshops for Adults
In the workshops you will get to know different artistic techniques and can develop and realise your own ideas. From acrylic painting and watercolours to ink and still life, all the way to mixed media and abstract art – each workshop offers a new creative experience.
No prior knowledge is required. The workshops are designed so that beginners can take part with ease. The focus is on the creative process, experimenting and personal expression – without any pressure to perform and with room for your own ideas.

About the instructor - Le Hang Kristyna
Kristyna has always loved painting and everything creative. Although she studied economics and philosophy and worked as an accountant for a few years, she never lost her passion for art. Since her daughter was born in 2023, she decided to commit her time to art, teaching painting classes and attending art markets.
She wishes to connect to and build a creative community as she truly enjoys seeing people bloom in the creative process. Her workshops are designed for all levels. She gives a lot of individual guidance to each person but also provides calm space for everyone to enter their creative zone and grow at their own pace. Her workshops highly encourage individual self-expression.

The workshop fee must be paid in advance. Your booking becomes binding and your place is reserved once full payment has been received.
The 3-workshop pass can be purchased directly in class by paying the additional €45 in cash or by card.

Autumn at Pimm Atelier – every Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. All materials & refreshments included.
Paint your happy place (Acrylic landscape)
In this workshop, you will be guided through the technique of sketching your landscape on canvas board (A4 size), mixing and layering colours using various brushes while being encouraged to maintain your individual artistic style. This will be a relaxing workshop where you can remember your happy place, learn a little more about acrylic painting and meet other creatives.

Botanical painting (Watercolours)
Experience the magic of watercolours! Using a selection of botanical illustrations, we will learn to appreciate the various techniques of watercolour. This will be an exciting exploration into colour and the behaviour of water. You will leave the workshop with a cute collection of small botanical paintings made by your own self.

Paint your own Picasso-style Portrait (Acrylic painting)
Get inspired by the great master Picasso to paint your own unique expressive portrait. We will look into the ways we can use shapes and colour to bring abstraction into our painting. This will be a very fun session where you can let your creativity explode, in a company of other creatives.

Painting with Chinese ink (Ink)
We will follow a series of Chinese ink paintings in a methodical way to understand their brush strokes and practice each painting multiple times. This session will focus on repeating a process in order to improve hand control. It will also be an interesting way to engage with a different way of perceiving the world.

Painting “Stages of Life” inspired by Hilma af Klint (Mix media, abstract)
Through the reflection on our own lives and life in general, we will produce a series of three paintings with unique colours and shapes to describe what it means to us to grow older and mature. We will look at “The Ten Largest” by Hilma af Klint for inspiration but everyone can express their thoughts and ideas in a completely unique way. This will also be a great opportunity for you to talk to others about your creative expression.

Still life (you choose the medium)
In this workshop, we will be drawing and/or painting a physical object presented in front of us. We will focus on practicing our observation skills, hand control and understanding the rules of light and shadow to create a notion of depth. This is a great session for you to improve your drawing/painting skills.

Open class (drop in to finish your project or start a new one)
This is an open session, in which I will provide various materials and guidance to help you complete any unfinished project from the previous workshops, or any private projects you are working on. You are also welcome to share your ideas for a new project and we will work together to make it happen. :)
